Peer Intervision Drop-in Style
Let's start from the beginning: What are online peer intervision meetings? Online ACT peer intervision meetings means meeting other ACBS members from around the world online for peer intervision. The purpose of the meetings is to facilitate overall ACT practitioner development and to help you broaden your ACT network.
What does a meeting look like? We usually like to start with a small mindfulness exercise in the beginning. We may break up into pairs or small groups (this may be necessary if a lot of people show up orif we want to do some partner exercises).
You can bring in client-related issues or personal issues – and really anything else that is related to you becoming a better ACT/Functional Contextual practitioner.
However, one thing that we strive to during all meetings is to talk as little about theory as possible and instead do as much experiential work as possible.
